SupportMusic.com is a public service initiative that impacts resolve and support for music education in local communities around the United States and abroad. This advocacy effort now unites 588 national, regional and international organizations comprised of parents and community leaders seeking to improve access and opportunity in music and arts learning. National Association for Music Education
The purpose of the NAfME Advocacy Groundswell is to cultivate an online community of NAfME members from across the country interested in participating in advocacy initiatives, engaging in discussions about advocacy and regularly digesting advocacy news.
You can access the Groundswell as an up-to-the-minute advocacy news and resource hub only. Or you may become a part of the fabric of the Groundswell by joining the “network,” enabling posting and forum discussion/group creation privileges for the site, and opting-in to receive “NAfME Advocacy Groundswell Action Alerts” and other correspondence of interest from the NAfME advocacy staff.
Americans for the Arts
Americans for the Arts provides the tools necessary to empower people to make a difference in their communities. AFTA works to secure increased resources for the arts and arts education at the local, state, and federal level to influence public and private policy.
Music for All
Music for All is one of the largest and most influential national music education organizations in support of active music making. Music for All is unique in that it combines programming at a national level with arts education advocacy. Bands of America (BOA) and Orchestra America are programs of Music for All.
