Intersection Between Cultures
Glencliff High School mariachi students were featured in a performance with Intersection, a new contemporary classical ensemble in Nashville, Kelly Corcoran, Artistic Director and Conductor. The mariachi program explored the relationships between classical composers and folk influences, in this case Mexican composers and mariachi music.
McGavock Guitar Performance at Phatbites
Marching Band
Students will rehearse as an ensemble, receiving instruction on marching techniques and concepts of musical performances. Students will perform in marching and concert activities, including parades, football games, concerts, festivals, and competitions. Public performances may serve as a culmination of specific instructional goals.
