The purpose of the Music Makes Us® Advisory Council is to advance the goals of the initiative and its sustainability over the long-term through both strategic and tactical efforts, including the cultivation of private funding sources. Members are jointly appointed by the mayor and director of schools and represent a broad cross-section of music industry, K-12 and higher education, philanthropic and community leaders.
