Teachers Advisory Council

The purpose of the Teacher Advisory Councils is to advance the goals of the initiative through both strategic and tactical efforts, specifically including guiding the development of the goal of Transforming Teaching and Learning.

This leadership group meets quarterly, with membership appointed to a 1-year term as determined by a nominations matrix and selected on the basis of:
• Evidence of outstanding teaching through best practice in music education
• Evidence of leadership
• Subject area concentration
• Experience
• Grade level representation
• Geographic representation
