Welcome to the Music Makes Us Online Hub!

The Music Makes Us® Online Hub is a listing of professional artists and organizations, vetted by a selection panel, which will enhance teaching and learning opportunities for students and teachers in Metro Nashville Schools. Direct experience with the music and arts community brings the curriculum to life beyond classroom walls.  The Hub is designed to promote awareness of quality programs available in the community and help facilitate communication and scheduling. Music Makes Us® will maintain a pool of funds to assist teachers with the cost of programs.

The goal of the Online Hub is to reimagine the way students experience music and the arts and connect with the many working artists in the Nashville community.

Approved Artists for the Online Hub will:

· Provide quality dance, music, theatre, visual and media arts learning opportunities

· Link classroom curriculum with artistic process and product

· Collaborate with classroom and music and arts teachers

Responsibilities of Music Makes Us®

Music Makes Us® will maintain an accurate representation of programs, market the Hub to users and facilitate updates to Online Hub listings annually.  Music Makes Us® provides advisory assistance to schools looking to meet programming needs, but it does not actively promote or seek bookings for artists and organizations accepted for the listing.  Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools teachers will contact artists on the Online Hub directly; Music Makes Us® is not responsible for scheduling.  Artists and organizations are responsible for setting rates and fees for each program offered.  Inclusion in the Online Hub does not guarantee bookings within Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools.
